About this collection
Shooting ethnic wear in a studio gives us total control over the light, which is crucial when you want to capture the heavy zardosi work or the subtle sheen of silk. We don't rely on natural light that shifts, so we ensure your jewellery and fabric textures look exactly as they should—sharp, rich, and clear. Whether it is a heavy bridal lehenga or a classic Kanjeevaram, we set up lighting to sculpt the fabric and make the colours pop against our clean, seamless backdrops.
When we shoot ethnic and bridal wear at our Whitefield studio, the priority is clarity. Traditional wedding outfits are complex, featuring layers of embroidery, intricate embellishments, and fine jewellery. We use specific lighting setups to ensure these details are not lost in shadows or washed out by flare.
Unlike outdoor shoots where crowds and sunlight can be unpredictable, the studio allows us to work with precision. We use soft-box lighting for natural skin tones and harder rim lights to pick up the metallic textures of temple jewellery or the shimmer of a dupatta.
Collaboration is a core part of our process. We frequently work with bridal makeup artists and hairstylists to ensure the look is camera-ready before the first shot is taken. If you are a designer looking for a catalogue shoot or a bride building a professional portfolio, our space is set up to handle the volume and the specific requirements of heavy garments.
We maintain a minimalist approach. Our backdrops—whether crisp white, deep grey, or soft blue—are chosen to ensure the focus remains entirely on you and your attire. We do not use distracting props. Instead, we rely on posing techniques that highlight the movement of the fabric, whether you are seated or standing. For brands, this means images ready for e-commerce or social media, free of visual clutter.
