This is what a self-makeup course at my studio looks like. I offer customized, one-on-one sessions where you can learn any look you want, using my professional vanity to practice.

A key topic I cover in my pro classes is client communication, like how to conduct a proper trial. I teach my students my method of doing two different looks to ensure the bride is confident in her choice.

What a client means by 'heavy' or 'light' makeup is completely subjective. In my classes, I stress the importance of using reference pictures to truly understand a client's vision before you begin.

Pro tip: you can get more coverage out of a product just by changing the tool you use. A denser brush will give you a fuller coverage application, a technique I cover in detail in my makeup courses.
