Inside Our Piano Lessons and Studio Events
I believe music is a journey meant for everyone. My studio isn't about rigid perfection; it’s about creating a safe, structured space where you can find your own rhythm.
Here is a glimpse into a typical class at Soul Piano Studio, where we believe in a balanced approach where structure meets soul.
Every lesson begins with a 5-minute warm-up, including simple finger drills and rhythm games to get students focused and in the flow.
The core of our lesson is 20-30 minutes of practice focusing on posture, technique, and breaking down songs. This is where technique meets expression.
We dedicate 10-15 minutes to creative time, where confidence blooms through musical games, improvisation, and playing favorite tunes.
Every lesson is designed to build both skills and joy. I am always available to discuss booking a class and starting your journey.

About this collection
In my studio, we don't just jump into theory. Every 45 to 60 minute session follows a specific rhythm: a quick 5-minute warm-up to get your hands moving, 30 minutes of focused technical practice, and a creative segment where we play songs you actually love—yes, that includes your favorite Bollywood numbers. This ensures you are building real skills while actually enjoying your time at the keys.
At Soul Piano Studio, our approach is simple: structure creates the foundation, but your soul creates the music. Whether you join us in our GK2 studio or via Zoom, every lesson is designed to remove the intimidation factor that often comes with learning an instrument.
Our Lesson Structure
We keep things grounded. Each session is split into three phases:
- The Warm-Up (5 mins): We start with finger drills and rhythm games to get your hands moving and your mind focused.
- Core Practice (20-30 mins): This is where we tackle posture, technique, and song breakdown. We use Trinity College London curriculum standards for theory, but we blend it with the pop or Bollywood songs you actually want to play.
- Creative Time (10-15 mins): This is the highlight for most students. We improvise, play through your favorite tunes, and explore the instrument without the pressure of getting it right immediately.
Where We Teach
We offer three distinct environments to suit your lifestyle:
- In-Studio (GK2, New Delhi): Our space is sound-treated and features professional acoustic upright pianos by Kawai and Yamaha. It is designed for distraction-free focus.
- At-Home: For students in South Delhi and Gurgaon, I or our team can come to your home. We work on your own instrument, making the transition from comfort to learning seamless.
- Online: Using Zoom, we connect globally. With proper camera positioning, we can guide your hand posture and provide real-time feedback, just as if we were sitting next to you.
Who We Teach
Music has no age limit. I teach toddlers, teens, busy professionals, and seniors. If you are worried about not being talented enough, please know that desire always beats natural ability in my studio. Let’s find your rhythm.
Soul Piano Studio
Hi, I'm Sarika. I built Soul Piano Studio because I believe music is a journey, not just a test. I’m here to help you or your child find that rhythm—no natural talent required, just a desire to learn.
