About Mehendi & Sangeet Celebrations
For Sangeet nights, I do not believe in interrupting your performance to get a shot. My team and I blend into the crowd to capture those genuine, motion-blurred dance moves and the real laughter when a step goes wrong. If you are planning a high-energy cocktail or a relaxed Mehendi, we focus on the candid energy rather than making you pose for stiff, unnatural portraits.
The transition from Mehendi to Sangeet is a shift in rhythm. Mehendi is about the details—the henna patterns, the quiet chats with family, and the vibrant colors. Sangeet is about the adrenaline. We use a 7-person crew for our standard packages to ensure we are covering both the stage performances and the spontaneous reactions in the crowd.
We use gimbals and fast-aperture lenses specifically for these low-light party environments, ensuring those fast-paced dance-offs remain sharp even when the dance floor gets crowded. Lighting makes a significant difference for indoor venues in Delhi or Mumbai. We often coordinate with your decorator or venue team to ensure there is a designated spot for portraits with minimal background distraction.
Don't worry about perfect angles during your dance. The best photos I have taken at Sangeets are the ones where the couple forgot I was even there. Whether it is a themed décor setup or a sudden dance battle, we are there to document the story, not direct it.
