Ayurvedic Stress Relief & Rejuvenation Therapies in Marathahalli
Modern life often pulls us out of alignment. These traditional Ayurvedic therapies are designed to help you pause, calm your nervous system, and restore the vital balance between your mind and body.
Experience deep relaxation with a therapeutic massage. I use various Abhyangam techniques with warm, herbal oils to release tension, calm the mind, and leave you feeling fully rejuvenated.
This is a glimpse of a de-stress therapy session, which combines a full-body massage like Abhyangam with Shirodhara, followed by a relaxing herbal steam bath. This 90-minute treatment works wonders on a stressed body and mind.
Did you know that a 60-minute massage can offer your body the same deep rest and rejuvenation as a full 7 to 8 hours of sleep? It is a powerful way to reset your nervous system.
This image shows a potli massage, where warm herbal poultices are applied to the body. Healing through Ayurveda is a journey of self-discovery, and therapies like this help restore balance from the outside in.
A potli massage in progress. This therapy uses heated herbal poultices to alleviate pain, reduce stiffness, and promote relaxation. It is a perfect example of how Ayurveda helps you find balance.
Shiro Abhyanga, or Ayurvedic head massage, is a focused treatment to relieve stress and tension. It promotes deep relaxation, aids circulation, and can significantly improve sleep quality.
Udara Abhyanga is a specialized stomach massage that helps balance the doshas and aid digestion. It can also facilitate the release of stored emotional tension, contributing to overall well-being.
About this collection
Before any therapy begins, I perform a Nadi Pariksha to assess your pulse and determine your specific Dosha imbalance. This allows me to customize the herbal oils and techniques for your session. It is the key difference between a generic spa experience and the genuine, individualized healing process we practice at the clinic.
In Ayurveda, we follow the principle of 'Manah sarirayoh samatvam svasthyam', which translates to health being the perfect balance between mind and body. Stress is rarely just a mental state; it manifests physically as tension, poor sleep, and digestive sluggishness. When you come to us for stress relief, we do not simply offer a massage. We offer a structured clinical protocol aimed at calming the Vata dosha.
Our approach centers on two key therapies:
- Abhyangam: This is not just a massage. We use warm, medicated oils like Dhanwantharam, applied with rhythmic strokes that follow the arterial blood flow. This improves circulation and lymphatic drainage while deeply nourishing your muscles.
- Shirodhara: For deeper anxiety or insomnia, we use Shirodhara. A continuous, steady stream of warm oil is poured over the forehead to target the hypothalamus. It induces a meditative state that simple muscle relaxation cannot achieve.
Everything takes place on a traditional wooden Droni table, ensuring you receive the therapy as intended by ancient texts. We prioritize hygiene above all else—fresh oil is used for every single session, and our clinic in AECS Layout, Marathahalli, is maintained to provide a serene, quiet environment. Healing is not about instant magic; it is about consistent, authentic care that helps you feel lighter and clearer again.
