When I created Afro Pulse, the goal was simple. Bangalore needed a dedicated space for those infectious, bass-heavy Afro-house and Amapiano rhythms. You cannot just play these tracks on shuffle; the style demands technical beatmatching and careful loop management to maintain the hypnotic flow that defines the genre.

Why Afro Pulse Works

I bring my Denon Prime 4+ console to every gig. It allows me to analyze complex rhythmic structures on the fly, which is essential for Afro beats and Trap. I also use V-Moda Crossfade LP2 headphones for precise cueing, so when I transition from a classic Hip-Hop track into an Afro-beat drop, the switch is seamless. No awkward silences, just clean audio that hits hard.
