Working the crowd at Flo is about reading the room, not just playing tracks from a list. I use my Denon Prime 4 plus console to analyze beats on the fly, ensuring that whether I am spinning a Bollyflo set or switching to hip-hop, the transition is seamless for the dance floor.
The energy at Flo is unique because of the multi-level layout and the way the sound hits the space. I have spent countless nights behind the console here, refining my sets to match the acoustics. My approach is simple: I watch the floor. If the crowd is feeling the Afro rhythms, I pivot to Afro Pulse. If it is time to turn up the volume with high-energy Bollywood remixes, that is what I give them.
