About The Rich Henna Stain
Getting a deep color is about more than just the paste; it depends heavily on your aftercare. Even with my natural, self-made henna blend, the richness of the stain depends on how you protect your hands for the 24 hours after I apply the design. Keeping your hands warm and avoiding harsh soaps immediately after washing the henna off is the secret to that dark, maroon shade that lasts throughout your wedding festivities.
Why Natural Henna Stains Darker
The secret to a deep, dark henna stain lies in the purity of the ingredients. I avoid chemical-laden cones that offer an instant black color but fade quickly or cause skin irritation. My paste is made from 100% natural henna powder, high-quality essential oils, and lemon juice. This combination allows the stain to start as a bright orange upon removal and mature into a rich, dark maroon over 48 hours.
Your Role in the Result
While my paste is designed to stain well, you play a big part in the final outcome. I always advise my brides to:
- Leave the dried henna on for at least 6 to 8 hours.
- Avoid water exposure for the first 12 hours after removal.
- Use natural heat sources, like clove steam, to help the color develop.
- Apply natural oils like coconut or mustard oil to help the color mature.
A Safe Choice for Your Big Day
Many clients worry about chemical reactions with commercial, mass-produced cones. By using my own natural blend, I ensure your skin remains safe while achieving that coveted deep color. Whether you are booking for a traditional bridal look or a contemporary design, you can expect a stain that looks vibrant in your wedding photography and lasts well into your post-wedding celebrations. If you are planning your wedding in Mumbai, I am happy to discuss your specific needs and ensure your henna experience is perfect.
