About Floral & Garden Dreams
These floral themes require a specific setup approach. Because your baby needs to be comfortable for the entire 3-4 hour session, we maintain our Defence Colony studio at a precise 26-28 degrees Celsius, using layers of organic wool and soft wraps under those flowers. This is not just about the props—it is about the safety protocols and consistent climate control that keep your newborn sleeping soundly while we capture these fine-art portraits.
Our Approach to Floral Portraits
Photography is more than just clicking a camera. When we create these garden-themed scenes, we are constructing a controlled, safe environment for your baby. From hand-placing rose wreaths to creating soft, bokeh-filled floral backgrounds, every element is chosen to highlight your baby's delicate features without overpowering them.
Why the First Two Weeks Matter
The secret to those curled-up, peaceful floral poses is timing. We highly recommend booking your session for when your baby is between 7 and 15 days old. At this stage, babies naturally stay in a deep sleep for longer periods, which allows us to transition through 2 to 5 different themes without disturbing them.
Safety and Comfort Above All
We never compromise on safety for the sake of a shot.
- Spotting: A trained assistant is always present for every pose, especially when using props like swings or baskets.
- Hygiene: Every outfit, wrap, and floral prop is sanitized before your session.
- Climate: Our studio is climate-controlled with white noise playing to mimic the womb, keeping your baby calm throughout the shoot.
Whether you prefer a rustic woodland setup with lavender and twigs or a soft, angelic look with pink cherry blossoms, we handle all the styling. You do not need to bring props or outfits; we provide everything from the rompers to the headbands. Just bring your baby, and we will take care of the rest.
