I am still pinching myself. From starting as a housewife to getting featured in The Indian Express and performing at the NMACC, it has been a wild ride. Here is a look at the journey I have shared with Jack and the rest of the crew.

What a way to start the year! I was so excited to be featured in The New Indian Express, Hyderabad.

Another feature, this time in Mid-Day, talking about my journey and how I started ventriloquism in my 40s.

I was thrilled to be recognized as the only female ventriloquist in Nepal by ECS Living magazine.

This page from the ECS Living article details how I got started in comedy and ventriloquism.

More from my ECS Living feature, where I discuss my creative process and some of my favorite past performances.

About Press, Praise & Posters

Getting recognized as a Skill Hero for arts and culture was huge, but my favorite moments are the show posters here. They represent the grind of taking ventriloquism from my living room to stages like the NMACC and The Habitat. It is proof that you really can start a new career in your 40s, provided you have a cynical blue monster puppet to keep you grounded.

When I first picked up a puppet to entertain my nieces and nephews, I never imagined it would lead to full-page features in ECS Living or performing alongside top comedians at the NCPA. This collection of press clippings and posters is my way of keeping track of that unplanned journey. Whether it is a feature about being the only female ventriloquist in Nepal or an official poster for my 'No Strings Attached' show in Bandra, every piece here has a story attached to it.

My approach has always been about making ventriloquism accessible and funny, not just for kids but for adults who need a break from the seriousness of life. You will see mentions of my 'Skill Hero' award here, which was a special evening, but the real fun is in the live acts. From 'Hyatt of Comedy' in Kathmandu to corporate gigs in Mumbai, I try to keep the material real. If you are looking to book a show, these posters give you a sense of the variety I offer, from clean corporate entertainment to edgy, adults-only stand-up.

Hi, I am Seema! I never planned on becoming a ventriloquist, but after picking up a puppet for my nieces and nephews in my 40s, here I am. My shows are just me and my puppet buddies, Jack and Granny, sharing stories and making you laugh.
