Jack Denials and I prepare for our shows through a lot of back and forth. Here is a look at our creative process.

Jack is not always dressed for our video announcements, but he makes his voice heard anyway.

Jack's Thanksgiving contribution? Making a scene. He's always got a pun ready.

On stage with Jack in Bangkok. I was headlining two shows at the Comedy Joint, and it was an amazing experience.

About Behind the Scenes & More

Writing scripts involves a lot of back and forth because Jack insists he knows better. Most of our process is just arguing until we find something that makes people laugh.

I spend hours developing new material, often while testing lines on my puppets. Jack Denials, my blue monster, is particularly vocal about his disapproval of certain jokes. We experiment with crowd work and test out the human puppet mask act during these sessions. It is not always smooth, but the back and forth creates the timing you see on stage. Whether it is a corporate gig or a family event, the prep is the same. I look for the funny in everyday situations, like marriage or office culture, and then translate that into a routine. You can see how we practice for venues ranging from comedy clubs in Bangkok to private parties in Mumbai.
