I don't just take pictures. I chase stories, from Navi Mumbai’s flamingo dances to the rain-soaked landscapes of my hometown. Here is a look at the moments that define my work.

This video captures the incredible courtship dance of flamingos in Navi Mumbai. I was so mesmerized by their synchronized movements that I almost forgot to shoot. It’s a perfect example of the animal behavior photography I love to capture.

A raw moment of urban wildlife. This shot from my series on a street cat's hunt in Mumbai shows the playful yet brutal reality of nature, even in the city. Capturing peak action like this requires hours of patience.

This is the mood of the Maharashtra monsoon I love. A lone herder, his cattle, and the rain-soaked road create a quiet, powerful story of everyday life in the countryside.

A monochrome shot from a foggy morning at the lake. I use black and white photography to strip away distractions and focus on the eerie, atmospheric feeling of a place, turning a simple waterscape into fine art.

The scale of the ancient landscape in Hampi is breathtaking. This shot captures that sense of wonder and exploration, using the natural frame of the rocks to highlight a human element against the vastness of nature.

The serene beauty of Phewa Lake in Pokhara, Nepal. The warm sunset light and the cluster of vibrant boats create a peaceful and visually rich landscape, perfect for travel photography.

A classic scene from the monsoon season in Maharashtra. The contrast between the modern windmill and the timeless, rolling green hills under a dramatic sky tells a story of changing landscapes.

Finding art in the urban environment. This shot turns ordinary pigeons and power lines into a dynamic composition, showcasing how urban wildlife photography can reveal unexpected patterns and beauty.

About Featured

I swap between my professional Nikon and my phone depending on what the moment calls for. Whether I am trekking through the rocks of Hampi or waiting hours for wildlife in the city, my goal is always the same: to catch the raw feeling rather than just the frame.

My Approach

My photography is not about sitting pretty or posing. It is about patience and being ready. You will see a mix of high-contrast wildlife, moody monsoon landscapes, and everyday street observations. I treat the wild as something that exists everywhere, whether it is a flock of pigeons on a wire or a rare courtship dance.

What I Cover

  • Wildlife and Animal Behavior: I focus on genuine interaction. You won't find static shots here; I aim for the hunt, the dance, and the quiet moments between creatures.
  • Monsoon and Landscape Photography: There is a rhythm to the rain in Maharashtra that I am obsessed with. I capture the green hills, foggy roads, and the quiet life of the countryside.
  • Urban Nature: I find art in the city. From power lines to street cats, I look for patterns and stories in the places we walk past every day.

How We Can Work Together

I offer everything from full-day commercial shoots for eco-resorts to intimate 3-hour sessions for pets. My work is designed for people who want images that feel like a story, not just a standard stock photo. I handle the travel within 100km of Mumbai, or we can discuss projects further afield. If you want something specific, like a fine art print for your wall, I work with high-grade cotton rag paper to ensure the mood of the shot stays intact for years.

I'm Sanket. I live for the kind of photography where the gear takes a backseat to the story. I am just as likely to be waiting in the mud for a shot as I am to be experimenting with light in my studio.
