About Handmade Eco-Friendly Rakhis

These rakhis are crafted from baked natural clay and come on adjustable cotton cords, making them comfortable for all wrist sizes. Since every piece is hand-painted, the designs are unique, so please ensure you record an unedited opening video when your package arrives to cover any potential transit damage claims.

My terracotta rakhis bring a touch of traditional Indian art to your festivities. Unlike mass-produced synthetic alternatives, these are made from natural clay, offering a rustic, earthy feel that ages gracefully. Each rakhi acts as a miniature canvas; you will find motifs ranging from the delicate lotus petals of Pichwai art to bold geometric patterns and traditional Bengali alpona styles.

Because I shape and paint each rakhi individually, no two pieces are identical. I use high-quality acrylic paints and seal them with a water-resistant varnish, ensuring the colors stay vibrant throughout the day. Whether you are looking for a subtle floral design or a modern, patterned piece, these rakhis serve as a meaningful keepsake long after the festival.

These pieces are priced at ₹99 each and ship from my studio in Bengaluru to locations across India. If you are planning a bulk order for return gifts, please reach out well in advance to allow for the painting and drying time required for the clay.
