This is the first collection of visuals a user sees. It is designed to make an immediate impact by showcasing my core philosophy, range of work, and expertise. The media is ordered to tell a compelling story, from the overall vision to the innovative details.
Aangan: A House That Breathes
This project, 'Aangan' (The Courtyard House), is the heart of my design philosophy. I designed it as an inward-looking sanctuary that brings peace and privacy, with rooms opening onto internal courtyards to keep nature close. The design uses locally sourced timber, salvaged stone, and large glass windows to create a warm, biophilic environment that blurs the line between indoors and out.
Minimalist Sanctuaries
For those who find peace in simplicity, I design clean, minimalist interiors that serve as a quiet canvas for life. These spaces are defined by a "not too much" philosophy, using a pristine white palette, natural light, and carefully selected textures to create a mood of calm and serenity, while always maintaining a connection to the green outdoors.
Research & Material Innovation
My work is grounded in deep research to find what makes a space truly sustainable. I explore innovative uses for materials like timber and bamboo, and I'm passionate about upcycling industrial waste, such as creating feature walls from discarded tree skin. This academic approach allows me to build healthy, forward-thinking structures that are in harmony with the planet.
Press & Publications
I am grateful to have my work and design philosophy featured by leading architecture and design publications. These articles offer a deeper look into the stories and concepts behind my projects, particularly the 'Aangan' house, and my mission to promote sustainable living through thoughtful design.
Talks & Collaborations
Sharing knowledge is a core part of my practice. This is a collection of promotional materials from my talks and collaborations, where I discuss my research on sustainable materials and design with the broader community.
