Don't let your balcony stay empty. I turn those forgotten corners into mini-jungles where you can enjoy your morning chai, surrounded by fresh air and lush greenery.

This terrace was designed as a complete outdoor living room. I installed a no-maintenance artificial lawn and added comfortable wicker furniture under a protective pergola, creating a perfect space for family time.

Here, I built a custom wooden bench and integrated it with vertical plant frames. The combination of warm wood, soft cushions, and living green walls makes this a uniquely beautiful and comfortable outdoor seating area.

For this balcony makeover, I used a creative combination of hexagonal tiles and artificial grass patches. It’s a modern, playful design that adds texture and greenery while being easy to maintain.

A balcony can even have a stylish bar. I helped design this space with custom metal plant stands that fit the modern, industrial aesthetic, adding a touch of green to the beautiful view.

This is a simple yet beautiful balcony transformation for a client in Sanjay Nagar. A patch of artificial grass and a curated collection of potted plants is all it took to create a charming green corner.

A closer look at the plant selection for the Sanjay Nagar balcony project. I chose a mix of flowering plants like Poinsettia and leafy varieties, including a unique Buddha-head planter, to add personality.

Here you can see the variety of small and medium-sized pots used in the balcony makeover. Mixing different shapes and styles adds visual interest and makes the space feel more dynamic.

For this project in Mysore, the goal was to create a simple, elegant outdoor space. A comfortable swing chair and a few well-placed, large potted plants are enough to make this balcony a perfect spot to enjoy the view.

This long balcony in Mysore uses large, modern white planters to create a clean and minimalist look. The plants are chosen to withstand the elements and provide a consistent green border along the glass railing.

Another view of the spacious Mysore terrace. I used large, grey pots to complement the flooring and planted hardy, architectural plants like Yucca to create a strong visual statement against the open sky.

About Balcony & Terrace Escapes

Before you start picking plants, think about your space’s light levels. A balcony facing north needs very different greenery than one that gets harsh afternoon sun. I always start by checking your sunlight patterns so we choose plants that will actually thrive, not just survive, in your specific corner.
