Glitz & Glam: Cocktail and Sangeet Night Decor
From mirrored tunnels to tiered crystal chandeliers, we design moody, high-energy spaces for your cocktail or sangeet night. Think less standard hotel hall, more exclusive lounge vibe.
The entrance to this 25th-anniversary party was a grand hall of mirrors and memories. Massive chandeliers hung overhead as guests walked past a gallery of the couple's photos, creating a deeply personal and glamorous welcome.
I designed this dramatic, modern tunnel entrance for a sangeet in Goa. Lined with warm globe lights and flanked by lush white florals, it created a spectacular 'wow' moment for guests as they arrived.
The seating for this cocktail event featured tables draped in black sequin linens, topped with large bouquets of white roses. Overhead, a line of magnificent crystal chandeliers cast a glittering glow over the entire space.
For this sangeet, I paired deep teal velvet lounge sofas with overflowing arrangements of white hydrangeas and baby's breath. The contrast of the rich color against the soft white florals created a look of sophisticated drama.

The cocktail bar was designed to be a centerpiece of the event. With a custom-lit facade, an ornate gold ceiling structure, and multiple chandeliers, it was the epitome of high-end party styling.

My approach to 'Glitz & Glam' leans into deep, moody tones—velvet teal lounges, black-and-gold geometric patterns, and mirrors that reflect the candlelight.
Lighting as Decoration
In these evening settings, standard overhead lights kill the mood. We work with professional lighting rigs—movers, washes, and focused beams—to highlight specific zones like the stage or the bar. The goal is to create a space that feels like a private, exclusive club. When we install chandeliers, we don't just hang them; we layer them to create depth and texture above the dance floor.

We move away from 'off-the-shelf' setups. For these events, we often build:
