About Epic Destinations: Royal Rajasthan
The best time for these palace shoots is usually early morning or the golden hour right before sunset, when the light hits the sandstone just right. Because we often have to navigate tourist crowds at popular spots like the Udaipur city palaces or ghats, I typically plan for a split-shift schedule—we start at sunrise, take a break during the harsh midday sun, and finish with evening portraits when the palaces are beautifully lit.
When shooting in Rajasthan, it is easy to get caught up in the sheer scale of the architecture, but my focus remains on the two of you. Whether we are capturing a regal portrait on the steps of an Udaipur haveli or a candid moment sharing tea on a quiet street, the goal is to balance grandeur with authenticity.
Why Rajasthan for Your Pre-Wedding
Rajasthan offers a variety of textures and lighting conditions that you cannot find anywhere else. From the warm, earthy tones of old heritage buildings to the lush, manicured gardens of luxury resorts, the diversity of backdrops is endless.
How We Approach These Shoots
Planning is crucial for these locations.
- Timing & Light: We prioritize light above all else. We will work around your travel schedule to ensure we hit the best spots during the golden hour or when the palace lights turn on at dusk.
- Location Management: Udaipur has busy streets and quiet, hidden gems. I know the spots that provide the perfect framing without the interference of massive crowds.
- Wardrobe Styling: The environment is grand, so styling matters. Whether you choose traditional Rajasthani attire to match the vibe or sleek, modern outfits for contrast, I guide you on what will look best against the specific textures of the location.
If you want to move beyond standard poses and create a series of images that feel like a film still, we will be a great fit. My style is less about directing your every move and more about finding the rhythm in your bond, even against the most epic landscapes.
