About Folk & Festive Celebrations
I conduct all my one on one sessions at The Dance Temple in Goregaon West, where we have the professional flooring and mirror setup needed to polish your moves. I focus on breaking down traditional steps into simple patterns, so you can perform with confidence regardless of your experience level.
For your festive events, you are not just getting a list of steps. We work on the grace and the rhythm that make folk dances special. For Durga Pujo, we focus on the storytelling aspect through hand gestures and subtle expressions, while for Navratri, it is all about the footwork and the stamina to keep going for hours. I also understand that traditional events require a specific mood, so I help with music selection and costume advice to make sure your performance fits the cultural vibe. If your family is joining in, I send out easy to follow video tutorials to everyone so that rehearsals are smooth even if people live in different parts of the city.
