I’m an audio engineer first, which means you get crisp, heavy sound, not just loud noise. For Sangeet nights, I focus on the mix—blending high-tempo Punjabi tracks with those classic Bollywood favourites to keep the dance floor packed for every generation.
When you book me for a wedding or Sangeet, you aren't just getting a playlist. You are getting a sound setup that actually works for the venue, whether it’s a tight indoor hall or a sprawling lawn. I use pro-grade Pioneer gear and custom sound engineering to make sure the bass hits right without drowning out the MC or the speeches.
I treat Sangeets like a live performance. If I am playing solo, I read the crowd to pivot between bhangra and hip hop, ensuring the energy stays high from the first dance to the final track. If the event is larger, my partner Mann'e and I jump on the console together for a back-to-back duo set. This setup adds a visual and interactive layer to the music, with CO2 jets, confetti, and beat-synced lighting that makes the whole dance floor feel like a club.
I have seen too many wedding DJs rely on a pre-recorded mix. That does not work when you have guests of all ages. I prefer mixing live because it allows me to adjust the BPM (beats per minute) based on who is on the floor. If the elders are dancing, I play the classics. Once the friends take over, we move to the current trending reels and high-energy club tracks. My goal is to make sure every guest leaves with sore feet and a smile.
