About Wedding Invites & 'Shubh Shiksha'
When you order a Shubh Shiksha frame, I typically need the original physical card or blessing printout to ensure the resin bonds cleanly. If you have an older invitation that is slightly worn or has bent corners, do not worry; I can often clean up the text and restore clarity during the preservation process before pouring the resin.
Preserving your wedding invitation or the Shubh Shiksha—the traditional blessing given to a bride during her Vidai—is about keeping those first-day emotions alive. These are not just paper; they are the start of your new life.
The Preservation Process
I work in my Noida studio, where I carefully treat every paper item to prevent it from soaking up the resin and turning transparent. Whether it is an intricate wedding card or a handwritten blessing, I use a barrier technique that preserves the ink and the paper texture exactly as it is.
Customizing Your Frame
Each piece is a collaboration.
- Floral Design: I use real, dried flowers—often hydrangeas, marigolds, or baby's breath—to create a border that complements the colors of your original invite.
- Lighting: Many couples opt for embedded fairy lights in the resin rim. This turns a simple frame into a warm nightlight for your new home.
- Personalization: You can add photos, your wedding hashtag, or dates in gold or silver vinyl lettering.
Why Noida and Delhi NCR?
Being based here allows me to meet clients who prefer to drop off their precious cards personally. If you are in Delhi NCR, you can visit the studio to see how we lay out the flowers. If you are sending them via courier, I document every step of the layout before I pour the resin, so you know exactly how the final piece will look before it becomes permanent.
Remember, resin is a chemical process. While I strive for perfection, small bubbles or natural flower variations are part of the handmade charm. I treat every frame as if it were my own, making sure your yaadein stay with you, hamesha.
