Golf Fitness and Conditioning in Bangalore
A powerful game starts with a capable body. Discover how I integrate specific mobility and strength work into your coaching to improve your distance and consistency.
Back in the gym, building the strength that powers my game. Consistent fitness training is a non negotiable part of my philosophy for any serious golfer looking to improve.
About Golf Fitness & Conditioning
I don't just show you how to swing the club. In every coaching session, we dedicate specific time to golf-specific mobility work—focusing on your thoracic spine, hips, and core stability. If your body lacks the necessary range of motion, your swing will always hit a plateau, no matter how many hours you spend on the range hitting balls.
Why Fitness is Non-Negotiable for Golf
Many golfers think their swing issues are purely technical. Often, the problem is physical. If you cannot rotate correctly, your body will find a compensation in the swing to make up for it—leading to slices, hooks, and back pain. My goal is to build an engine that supports your technique.
My Approach to Golf Conditioning
We break down physical training into three core pillars:
- Mobility: We target the areas that matter most for golf—the neck, T-spine, and hips. Increased range of motion directly translates to a better, smoother swing arc.
- Rotational Power: Golf is a rotational sport. We use specific drills to help you generate speed safely, moving away from 'muscling' the ball to a fluid, powerful motion.
- Stability & Endurance: Walking a full round requires stamina. We work on core stability to ensure your consistency holds up from the 1st tee to the 18th green.
Training That Works
Whether you are a junior player looking to build a foundation or a weekend golfer struggling to add distance, we tailor the fitness element to your current level. This isn't about training like a bodybuilder. It is about training like a golfer.
We integrate these elements into our 1-hour coaching sessions at Bangalore’s premier locations, including BGC, KGA, and Prestige Golfshire. You get a blend of slow-motion video analysis to fix the swing and specific mobility stretches to fix the movement patterns behind it.
