When I perform, I don't follow a rigid playlist. I watch the room. If the crowd needs high energy, we pick up the tempo with Bollywood rock and invite requests. If they are looking for something soulful, we lean into Kannada classics like Bombe Helutaite. It is about feeling the pulse of the audience and adjusting the set in real-time so that no two shows ever feel the same.
Every show I perform, whether it is a cozy restaurant gig or a large corporate event, follows a simple philosophy: the audience drives the set. I don't just stand there and play; I read the energy in the room to keep the shaamein malang si (carefree evenings) flowing.
