Bridal Hairstyling & Finishing Touches
Your hair holds your look together. I specialize in styles that are not just beautiful, but also secure—designed to carry the weight of your heavy bridal jewelry and dupatta comfortably.
Creating voluminous, bouncy curls for a Sangeet bride from London. This hairstyle is all about glamour and movement, perfect for a night of dancing.
A beautiful bridal look for my client from London. Her hair is styled in soft, elegant waves to complement her richly embroidered velvet lehenga.
The final look, complete with dupatta setting. The soft waves are gently pinned back to keep them off her face while still looking romantic and flowy.

A full view of a royal bridal look. The hair is pulled back into a neat, traditional bun, allowing the magnificent 'matha patti' and lehenga to be the stars of the show.

About this collection
The biggest fear most brides have is their jewelry or dupatta slipping mid-event, or their hair falling flat after an hour of dancing. Whether we choose a traditional gajra bun for your ceremony or romantic waves for your Sangeet, my focus is on structural integrity. I ensure your matha patti, nath, and double dupatta are pinned so securely that you don't have to give them a second thought, allowing you to actually enjoy your event.
Handling the Weight of Tradition
Bridal hair in India is rarely just about the style. It is about engineering. A heavy matha patti or a double dupatta puts significant tension on your scalp. If these are not anchored correctly into the foundation of your hairstyle, they will pull, slide, and cause headaches by the time you reach the mandap.
My Approach to Finishing
- Gajra Buns: For traditional ceremonies, I create a sturdy base that can hold heavy, real-flower gajras without the hair sagging. This provides a solid anchor point for your dupatta.
- Modern Waves & Up-dos: If you prefer soft, open waves or a modern up-do, I use professional-grade backcombing and texturizing techniques. This ensures the volume stays even under stage lights or in humid outdoor settings, and it gives the clips for your veil or hair accessories a place to grip.
- The Eye Box Touch: No look is complete without the details. I finish your styling by integrating my own brand of lashes and, where necessary, colored lenses to ensure your eyes stand out against your hairstyle.
Customization by Event
Your hairstyle should match the energy of the event. A Sangeet look needs movement, so I prioritize Hollywood waves or messy ponytails that survive dancing. For your reception, we can go for something sleek and polished that highlights your gown or lehenga. I work with your hair type—fine, thick, or even clipped-in extensions—to create the look you want without damaging your natural hair.
