About Behind The Scenes: My 'No Filter' Process
People often ask if my 'glass skin' look is just lighting and heavy editing. It isn't. It starts with deep, intentional hydration and high-end strobe creams before a single drop of foundation touches your skin. I spend nearly as much time on this prep as I do on the actual makeup because that is the only way to get a base that sits perfectly, looks like real skin, and stays flawless without feeling heavy or cakey throughout your long wedding day.
My 'No Filter' Methodology
When I say 'No Filter', I mean exactly that. I prioritize the natural texture of your skin. My process is designed to enhance your features, not hide them behind a mask.
1. The Skin Prep Phase Before we start with color, we focus on the canvas. I use premium moisturizers and strobe creams to build that inner glow. If you have specific concerns, we address them here rather than covering them with heavy layers of product later.
2. Customised Application Depending on your venue and outfit—whether it's an outdoor beach ceremony in Goa or a humid, crowded indoor reception in Mumbai—I alternate between HD and Airbrush techniques. This ensures your makeup is heat and smoke resistant.
3. The 'Eye Box' Details I founded my own brand for lashes and lenses because I found that standard market options often didn't fit the 'glass skin' aesthetic I wanted. Using these allows me to customize the intensity of your eye look, whether you want soft, romantic vibes or a dramatic, glittery look for your Sangeet.
4. Final Finishing It is not just about the makeup. I personally oversee the draping of your dupatta and the setting of your Matha Patti or Nath. These finishing touches are what tie the entire look together.
I share my process openly because I want you to understand exactly what you are getting. If a product works, I tell you. If a technique is better for your specific skin type, we use that. My goal is to make sure you look in the mirror and still see yourself—just a more radiant, camera-ready version.
