Custom Traditional Half-Sarees (Langa Voni)
I love taking the classic langa voni and giving it a fresh, personal spin. Whether it is mixing bold Kalamkari with rich Banarasi fabrics or keeping it traditional, we can create something that feels exactly like you.

About this collection
A half-saree is only as good as its flow and fit. For every langa I stitch, I use heavy cotton can-can and canvas foundations, ensuring the skirt holds its volume all day. We will spend time picking fabrics that actually work together, not just colors, but textures, so the drape feels effortless whether you are dancing at a Sangeet or attending a ceremony.
The joy of a langa voni is in the drape, and that starts with the fabric combination. When you come to the studio, we do not just look at color swatches. We look at how a heavy Kanchipuram border sits against a light georgette dupatta, or how a stiff raw silk skirt balances with a softer, embroidered blouse.
My approach is about harmony. I frequently pair traditional Kalamkari skirts with Banarasi georgette dupattas to break the monotony of a standard set. It creates a look that is deeply rooted in tradition but feels modern and artistic.
We always focus on the silhouette. I use a 3.5 to 4-meter flair for the skirts, integrating traditional Zari borders that add weight and grace to your movement. For the blouse, since it is the focal point, we prioritize the Maggham embroidery. Whether you prefer intricate Kundan stones or classic Zardosi, we tailor the neckline to complement your jewellery and personal style.
Everything we do is by appointment, allowing us to dedicate time to the small details, like matching fabric latkans or adjusting the blouse length, that make the final piece yours alone.
