About The Artist's Touch: Behind the Scenes
My work is not just about the final bridal look; it is about the hours of travel and practice that happen before I even reach you. From sketching intricate portraits on moving trains to mixing our own organic kumkum jaggery paste in small batches, every design I create is born from these quiet moments of dedication. When you hire us, you are getting this same focus, the same attention to detail that goes into my own daily practice sessions.
People often see the finished, deep-colored bridal mehndi, but they do not see the journey before the cone even touches the skin. Whether it is Bhavna and me traveling across India for a destination wedding, or me sitting in a moving train perfecting a miniature portrait, this exhaustion is exactly what I prayed for.
My workspace is not a corporate studio; it is often a living room, a hotel suite, or a transit lounge. I believe in constant practice. My own hands often become the testing ground for new, intricate designs like lotus motifs or Radha-Krishna figures, which helps me maintain the precision my brides expect.
We do not rely on synthetic dyes. We use our own homemade organic kumkum jaggery paste. It is a process of mixing, testing, and ensuring the consistency is just right for that signature dark stain. When we arrive at your venue, that is all you see. But behind the scenes, it is about preparation. We are a duo—Pinky and Bhavna—and we treat every wedding as if it were our own. From late-night storyboarding to managing the groom's squad surprise, we are there to ensure the energy stays high. If you are wondering if we can handle your specific venue or timeline, the answer is yes. We have done it all, from Mumbai to Chennai, and everywhere in between.
