If your little ones are running wild or your pet decides it is nap time, we just roll with it. I don’t ask anyone to sit perfectly still or look at the lens on command. Instead, we use treats, favorite toys, or simple tickle games to wait for those quiet, snuggly moments to happen naturally. It takes the pressure off the kids and lets the pets be their true selves, which is when the real magic shows up on camera.
There is something truly special about growing up with a dog or cat. It is a privilege, really. But I know that trying to get a toddler, a retriever, and a parent all looking at the camera at the same time is usually a recipe for stress, not memories. That is why my approach is simple: I do not ask for perfection. Whether we are shooting in your living room or out at a park in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, the focus remains entirely on connection.
If your kid is feeling shy, we do not force it. We play. If your dog is more interested in the grass than the photo, we follow them. By keeping the session relaxed, I am able to capture those fleeting, honest interactions—a hand on a paw, a whispered secret to a furry ear, or the quiet cuddles that usually go unnoticed.
