My Approach to Grooming

For me, grooming is not about aesthetics. It is about physical health and discipline. When a dog is uncomfortable—matted hair, infected ears, or overgrown nails—they are naturally more stressed and harder to manage. My process addresses these practical issues to help your dog feel better, which in turn improves their behaviour.

The Hygiene Protocol

Every session follows a strict, step-by-step protocol to ensure nothing is missed.

• Double Wash Bathing: I use breed-appropriate shampoo and conditioner to clean the skin, followed by high-velocity drying to ensure the undercoat is dry and prevent fungal growth.
• Complete Brushing: I detangle the topcoat and remove all loose hair and mud, which is essential for temperature regulation.
• Hygiene Maintenance: This includes trimming nails to a safe length, cleaning ear canals with vet-approved solutions, and brushing teeth.
• Sanitary Trims: I clip fur around private areas to maintain cleanliness.

I conduct all grooming at my dedicated pet resort near Nandi Hills. This open-air setting is the opposite of a cramped salon. The environment is spacious and secure, which significantly reduces claustrophobia and anxiety.

Managing Your Dog's Anxiety

I understand that when you see your dog stressed, wo mamta jaag jaati hai (that parental protective feeling kicks in). Many owners want to intervene, but your anxious energy can actually make your dog more worried. My team and I provide a structured, calm environment. We do not use force. Whether you have a small dog or a large, high-energy breed like a Rottweiler, I handle them with the same disciplined respect, ensuring they leave the resort calm and clean.
