Life on the Road: My DJ Setup & Vlogs
It’s not just the two hours on stage. Get a look at the hustle behind the beats—from sound checks and drip checks to the chaos of touring and keeping the energy high.
My personal vlog from Day 1 of Gully Fest 2024. I take you with me from the sound check to backstage, showing you the artist village and all the homies.
A quick recap from my opening set at Gully Fest. It also shows the real me backstage, choosing masala chai as my poison before a big show.
A DJ's point-of-view from a packed Spotify event. You can see the crowd going wild from my perspective behind the console.
With Karan Aujla at a Spotify event. It's always great to connect with the biggest names in the Punjabi music scene and bridge the gap between our worlds.
The crowd's reaction when the beat drops at the Spotify event. Capturing these moments of collective energy is what live music is all about.
About Behind The Scenes & Vlogs
People see the final set, but they don't see the soundcheck. I treat every venue like my own—fine-tuning booth monitors, checking mic levels, and syncing with the visual team before a single guest walks in. It’s about hitting the stage with the technical setup already locked in, so when the crowd arrives, it’s all about the music.
When you book me, you aren't just getting a playlist. You are getting the same level of preparation I bring to Gully Fest or a packed Spotify event.
The 'SoundsProof' Standard
Real energy comes from technical precision. I carry my own rider requirements because I know that if the booth monitors aren't hitting my ear level or the CDJ 3000s aren't calibrated, the set loses its edge. I work closely with your technical staff before the show starts to ensure my exclusive edits and transitions land exactly how they should.
My Approach to Touring
Whether we are doing a massive festival setup or a club residency at Raasta Bombay, my focus stays the same. I want the artist, the crew, and the audience to feel the same wave of energy. My vlogs capture the 'behind the deck' reality—the masala chai moments, the nerves, and the sheer work that goes into bridging the gap between the music and the street culture.
What This Means for Your Event
If you want that authentic hip-hop vibe, you need a DJ who knows how to control a room. I have spent 16 years building these sets, from the underground clubs to the biggest mainstages in India. If you are ready to stop worrying about the audio and start worrying about the crowd, let’s get it done.
