About With the Wedding Crew
The best part of my job isn't the final performance on stage, it is the days of rehearsals leading up to it. Whether it's teaching the groom's cousins to match beats or calming nerves before an entry, we build a comfort zone. By the time the lights hit, you aren't performing for me, you are vibing with your own people.
When you book me for sangeet choreography in Chennai or Bengaluru, you are not just getting a teacher. You are getting someone to manage the chaos.
The 'Char Bhai TaBHAI' Approach
My rehearsals are where the energy starts. I work with groups of all sizes, from the main wedding party to extended family members who haven't danced since school. My goal is to make sure every single person feels confident. If your cousin just landed from Dubai or your chacha has two left feet, don't worry. I have a trick for everyone. We use simple counts, fun transitions, and mashups that make learning feel less like a class and more like a hangout session.
Why the Crew Matters
Your sangeet is about the connection, not just the technical steps. I focus heavily on group dynamics. When the bride's squad and the groom's team vibe together during practice, it shows on stage. I provide tutorial videos for out-of-station guests so nobody is left out, and I manage the console cues on the event day so you don't have to worry about the music transitions.
Practical Details
- Rehearsals: We typically need 7 to 10 days for a full event package, with sessions lasting 3 to 4 hours.
- Locations: I hold sessions at your home or your chosen banquet hall in Chennai and Bengaluru.
- Event Day: I don't disappear after rehearsals. I am there on the day of the event with an assistant to cue tracks and manage stage lineups, ensuring the show goes off without a hitch.
