About Tutorials & Behind The Scenes
When I am not applying mehndi at your home, I am usually testing new henna consistencies or filming these quick design breakdowns. The trick to getting that deep, dark stain is not just about the henna powder, but how you balance the essential oils and let the paste breathe before application. If you are practicing for a wedding or a festival, try focusing on your grip pressure first; a steady hand makes fine lines much easier to control.
I started sharing these tutorials because so many of you asked how I manage to get my lines so clean while traveling on Mumbai local trains. Whether it is a lotus motif, a complex peacock, or simple Arabic checks, the secret is always in the practice.
Why I Share My Process
Mehndi is my passion, but I know it is a skill that takes patience. A lot of people ask me about my henna mix. I make my own fresh, 100% natural cones using triple-sifted powder and Nilgiris oil. No chemicals, just natural stuff. That is why the stain comes out dark and stays for a long time.
Behind the Scenes of a Mumbai Artist
My days are busy. Between Virar, Malad, and Lower Parel, I spend a lot of time traveling with my kit. It is tiring—my back hurts and sometimes it is a rush to get to the next client on time—but Alhamdulillah, the smiles I see when the design is finished make it all worth it.
When you see me in these videos, it is just me, my cones, and my love for this art. If you are looking to learn, keep an eye on how I hold the cone; the angle matters as much as the pressure. If you want me to come over and create something special for your function—be it a baby shower, engagement, or wedding—you know where to find me. Just reach out, and we can plan your design together.
