Come take a peek at the magic happening in the chair. From skin prep to that final winged liner, here is how I get my NG brides ready. ❤️

A behind-the-scenes moment of applying the perfect winged eyeliner. This is a crucial step for defining the eyes.

The process of creating a flawless base. I am applying foundation with a brush for an even and smooth finish.

The concentration it takes to get both eyeliners perfectly symmetrical. It's one of the most satisfying parts of my job.

Trust the process. This video shows the hairstylist working on the final touches while the makeup is all set and looking gorgeous.

A glimpse of the final touches. Here, the hairstylist is setting the matha patti perfectly on the bride's head.

A candid shot of my bride Nitya in the makeup chair. Her skin is glowing, and her classic red lip is ready.

An in-between moment with my beautiful bride Anjali. Her makeup is done, and she's all smiles before getting her hair finished.

This is what real makeup looks like, without any filters. I focus on creating a radiant base that looks like second skin.

About Behind the Scenes

I never rush the base. Every session starts with a mandatory 15-minute skin prep ritual to make sure your makeup sits like second skin, not a heavy mask. This simple step is why my brides stay glowing for hours without that cakey feeling.

Trust The Process

I always tell my brides, 'Ruko thoda, trust the process!' Makeup is a buildable art. Whether I am meticulously drawing your winged eyeliner to make sure both sides are perfectly symmetrical or placing that last pin in your hair, I am focused on the details that make you look like you, just a more radiant version.

Why Skin Prep Matters

Many people think makeup is just about the foundation. For me, the magic starts with the skin. I dedicate those first 15 minutes to proper cleansing, toning, and hydration. It is the only way to ensure your makeup doesn't melt off, even during a long Sangeet or a crowded Varmala. If your skin is happy, your makeup will look like glass skin, not a heavy layer of paint.

My Collaboration Approach

I do not work in isolation. In these behind-the-scenes moments, you will often see me coordinating with my hair team to make sure your matha patti sits perfectly or your bun is secure enough to last through the dance floor. We coordinate everything from the drape of your dupatta to the placement of fresh flowers, making sure everything is sorted so you can just enjoy being a bride.

At the end of the day, I want you looking at yourself in the mirror and thinking, 'Chand Wargi'—just beautiful.
