I had so much fun with this Valentine's Day themed set. It combines pink glitter, tiny red hearts, and full pearl accent nails for a look that is full of love and sparkle.

About All That Glitters
When working with heavy glitter or stones, the preparation is just as important as the final look. I always perform a thorough dry manicure to clean the nail bed first, which ensures that your extensions stay smooth and secure without catching on your clothes or lifting before your party ends.
I love playing with different textures, but the goal is always to make the finish look intentional. For everyday wear, I often suggest fine glitter or iridescent confetti that catches the light without being too bulky. This works well on shorter, almond-shaped nails and feels light even if you are not used to having extensions.
For events like weddings or engagements, we can go much bolder. I use high-density glitter gel for a uniform, mirror-like shimmer, or we can mix in rhinestones and pearls. If you are worried about the gems falling off, I apply a double top coat over the base to seal everything in place. This makes a big difference in how long the design lasts.
If you prefer a modern look, I also use chrome powders and holographic foils. These give a cool, metallic finish that feels very fresh. When you pick your design, think about your daily routine. Coffin and ballerina shapes look great with bold stone work, but if you work with your hands a lot, a shorter square or almond shape is usually more comfortable.
