About The Art in Progress

You’ll see me using a fine-tip cone to create those signature hibiscus layers. It takes a steady hand and patience, but this slow process is what allows me to get those clean, sharp lines that eventually result in a deep, rich stain.

Behind the scenes of my work, it’s all about the preparation. I mix my own henna paste using fresh, natural ingredients, which is why the colour turns out so dark and beautiful after 48 hours. When you watch me work, you’ll notice I focus heavily on the 'Bharwa' style for bridal clients, layering fine floral motifs with negative space. This isn't just about speed, it is about precision. Whether I am freehanding a Hibiscus flower or adding tiny, hidden details like your partner's name, I work with the natural flow of your skin. Because the paste is chemical-free, it does not dry out instantly. It stays moist longer, allowing the dye to penetrate deeper. This is the secret to that dark maroon 'rang' my clients love. Watching the process allows you to see the level of detail that goes into your bridal look, ensuring you know exactly what to expect on your big day.
