The Wedding Ceremony: Sacred Vows & Joyful Rituals

About The Wedding Ceremony: Sacred Vows & Joyful Rituals
I do not believe in directing you through stiff, repetitive poses during your ceremony. My focus is entirely on documenting the real flow of rituals, whether it is the Kashi Yatra or the exchange of garlands, so you actually get to experience your wedding instead of performing for the camera. Since I only take on a limited number of weddings, I can dedicate my full attention to being present for these fleeting, honest moments.
How I Capture Your Day
When you are at the mandap, the last thing you want is a camera thrust in your face or a photographer telling you how to look. I work with a documentary mindset. My crew and I stay in the background, using our gear to capture the candid interaction between you and your partner, the reactions of your parents, and the small, unplanned laughs during sacred rites.
Handling Rituals
Whether it is the emotional jeelakarra bellam ritual or the vibrant shower of rice during the akshatala, every tradition has a rhythm. I know these ceremonies intimately, which allows me to anticipate the key moments before they happen. I am there to document the story, not to stage it.
My Approach to Ceremony Coverage
- Unobtrusive presence: I use professional off-camera lighting and quiet, fast-aperture lenses so I don't disturb the sanctity of the wedding rituals.
- Cinematic detail: My packages include 4K video coverage, ensuring that the vows and the emotional speeches are recorded with high-fidelity audio and visuals.
- Team focus: Depending on the package, I bring a senior team of photographers and filmmakers. This ensures we cover multiple angles—one of us might be focused on your close-up expressions while another captures the family's reaction in the audience.
I travel across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and beyond for weddings. If you are looking for a photographer who values the real, raw emotions of your ceremony over perfectly posed shots, we will likely be a great match.
