About The Vibe: This Is Your Tribe
We don’t do rigid itineraries because we know you’re already tired of strict office schedules. Our trips are built around the spontaneous moments—the long drives, the impromptu chai stops, and the bonfire conversations that actually matter. You just show up to the starting city, and we take care of the heavy lifting like permits, transport, and finding the right people to share the experience with.
Backpacking is not just about ticking names off a map. For us, it is about the transition from being a stranger in a Tempo Traveler to becoming part of a travel family. Most of our travelers arrive solo, feeling that same 'buri aadat' (bad habit) to escape the routine, and leave with friends they actually want to stay in touch with.
We design our routes for maximum interaction. Whether it is the shared silence while watching a sunrise in the Spiti Valley or the collective laughter when a trend reel goes wrong in Kinnaur, these moments are the core of our offering. We handle the logistics, the local taxi unions, and the complex permit processes for restricted zones like Tawang or North Sikkim so you don't have to spend your weekend filling out forms.
Our Trip Captains are more like experienced buddies than tour managers. They know the best roadside dhabas for your lunch stops and exactly when to push the group to keep moving. If you have been hesitant about joining a group trip because you are worried about the 'vibe', rest assured that we prioritize inclusivity. Whether you are a solo traveler, a pair of friends, or a small work team, you will find your place in our group. Remember, money comes and goes, but these experiences with the right tribe stay with you.
Muddie Trails
We’re Muddie Trails, and we started exactly where you are—staring at a laptop screen and dreaming of the mountains instead of sitting in meetings. We aren't a travel agency in the traditional sense; we’re just a crew that decided to build the adventures we wanted to take. If you are tired of the office loop and want to find a tribe that actually gets it, you are in the right place.
