How I approach your portrait

I do not aim for photorealism. Instead, I focus on capturing the energy and personality of the subject using bold colors and clean lines. When you order a vector portrait, I trace from your high-resolution reference photo and build the image digitally. This gives you a graphic, pop-art style that stands out from a standard photograph.

My process

1. Reference: You send me a clear, high-resolution photo. Good lighting on the face helps me get the shadows and details right.
2. Drafting: I sketch out the composition and define the color palette. If you have a specific color scheme in mind—maybe to match your room or a brand identity—let me know, and I will incorporate that.
3. Refining: I add the final shading and details. I include one round of revisions, so if you need a background tweak or a jawline adjustment, we can fix it before I send the final files.
