I am proud to announce that Monks on Wheels is an approved Adventure Tour Operator by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. This recognition reflects my commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.

We are Chethan and Abhinav, and we started Monks on Wheels to turn our love for Namma Karnataka’s wild spaces into something meaningful. We believe in high energy and even higher standards, which is why we are constantly out there, either leading treks or sharing the reality of the field with tourism students.

This is the feeling I chase. Standing before the raw power of nature, you feel both small and infinite. I find these hidden giants in the Western Ghats and take you there, away from the crowds, to experience these adbhutavadanthaha (amazing) moments.8
This is what pure joy looks like! A happy group enjoying a natural shower in a beautiful waterfall in Uttara Kannada. My trips are all about creating these moments of fun and freedom, where you can forget everything and just be yourself.
The Western Ghats are not just about waterfalls. Look at these rolling green hills on the Netravathi Peak trek. The feeling of walking above the clouds, with endless shola grasslands around you, is a different kind of magic.
