About this collection
Beach sessions are all about catching that perfect golden hour light, so timing is the most critical part of our plan. Since we are heading outdoors, we typically schedule these to align with the sunset, and I ask that you arrange transport for the team to the location. It is a bit more travel than a studio session, but watching the way the wind and natural light interact with your gown makes the effort completely worth it.
While my studio in Navi Mumbai offers a controlled, cozy environment, there is a distinct sense of freedom that comes with an outdoor session. My beach and garden shoots are designed to be candid and fluid. We don't do rigid posing here; instead, we go for walks, play in the sand, and let the environment dictate the mood.
Why choose an outdoor session?
- Natural Lighting: The golden hour provides a soft, warm glow that is perfect for maternity portraits. It adds a layer of depth and romance that studio lighting just cannot replicate.
- Movement: If you love the look of flowing fabric, the ocean breeze creates motion in your maternity gowns that looks stunning in photos and videos.
- Family Comfort: Partners and older children often feel less pressured outdoors. It gives them space to move, play, and interact naturally, which leads to much more genuine expressions.
Planning your shoot: We usually focus these sessions around nearby Navi Mumbai beaches or scenic gardens. Because these locations are weather-dependent, I keep a close watch on the forecast and the sunset timings to ensure we get the best possible window. I recommend bringing comfortable footwear for the sand, but I will handle all the props and creative direction to ensure we keep the vibe relaxed and stress-free. Whether you want a picnic-style setup or a more cinematic walk along the water, I am there to capture the genuine connection between you and your growing family.
