My studio is great, but there is an undeniable freedom to the beach. The vastness of the water and the way the golden hour light filters through gives us images that feel airy, joyful, and completely authentic. It is perfect for families who feel a bit confined by four walls and want to capture their dynamic—the running, the splashing, and the quiet hugs—in a way that feels organic.

The Setup: Handled by Us

One common worry parents have about outdoor sessions is the logistics. You do not need to worry about hauling props or worrying about where to put things. For our beach sessions, i bring the magic to you. This includes:

• Themed Setup: I bring teepee tents, wooden letters, balloons, and cushions to create a little 'nest' on the sand. Whether you want a simple, clean aesthetic or a specific theme like a mermaid or boho setup, i ensure it is ready for you.
• On-Site Assistance: You will not find me fumbling with reflectors while trying to pose you. Every beach session includes an assistant dedicated to managing the lighting and keeping our props secure against the sea breeze.

Practical Tips for a Smooth Session

• Outfits: I always recommend whites, pastels, or denim. These colors look stunning against the golden tones of the sunset and the deep blues of the ocean. Avoid neon colors as they can distract from the natural light.
• Timing: These 90-minute sessions are strictly timed around the sunset. We plan our arrival to ensure we get the best light right before it disappears, so arriving on time is crucial.
• The Kids: Kids can be unpredictable, especially near the water. That is the point. If they want to play in the sand or splash their feet, let them. Some of my favorite photos are the ones where we were just having fun rather than focusing on the camera.
