About Your Story, Your Space: Cozy At-Home Sessions
We do not need a perfectly staged living room or matching outfits to make this work. In fact, the best shots happen when you are just lounging on the sofa or making breakfast together. For these sessions, I rely entirely on natural light—no artificial flashes or heavy equipment—so we keep the atmosphere calm, especially if there are kids or pets involved who might feel overwhelmed by a traditional studio setup.
Why I Choose Home Sessions
There is a specific kind of comfort that only exists within your own four walls. When we shoot at your place, you do not have to worry about traffic, changing in public restrooms, or making sure everyone is 'camera ready' in a foreign environment. Whether we are in your living room in Bandra or your garden in Juhu, the goal is to document your life as it actually happens.
How We Work Together
My approach is to be a quiet observer. During our time together, I might give you a little direction to help you settle in, but mostly I am looking for the way you naturally hold your partner's hand or how your child curls up against you.
- Express Sessions (30-40 mins): Perfect if you have a specific, quick moment in mind or if you have energetic little ones who cannot sit still for long.
- Detailed Lifestyle Sessions (90-120 mins): These allow us to move through different parts of your home, change outfits, and let everyone warm up to the camera. We get time for the slow, quiet moments that define your family's personality.
Practical Details
I shoot exclusively using natural light, which means our timing depends on when your home gets the best sun. If your space has large windows, we will use that to our advantage. If we are shooting outdoors at a nearby park or fort in Mumbai, we will plan around the golden hour for the softest, most flattering light. Please note that any entry fees for location permits are separate from my service fee.
