You want family photos that feel like your family, not a stiff portrait session. Here is how I capture those chaotic, loving, and beautiful interactions between siblings and parents.

Getting that perfect sibling shot is a common challenge. Here are three key things I teach: start with them first, give the older one more attention, and make them feel responsible. These simple tips make a world of difference.

In a world of AI, real emotion is irreplaceable. I teach you how to create an environment of warmth and patience that allows for genuine moments between parents, siblings, and the new baby. This is something a machine can never replicate.

You can't ask an AI to know the funny noise that makes a baby giggle or use reverse psychology on a toddler. My workshops focus on the human experience and real interaction, which is the key to creating a memory, not just a picture.

Understanding how to pose couples and families is a crucial skill. This "what you see vs. what we see" of a maternity shoot shows how I guide clients into natural, loving poses that translate into beautiful final images.

This is why you should learn with me. I teach you how to become an experienced professional who handles babies with love and care, creating timeless, frame-worthy photos for the whole family to cherish.

About Working with Family & Siblings

When photographing siblings, the secret isn't getting them to pose—it's giving the older child a specific role. Whether it’s holding a prop or being the 'assistant,' giving them a responsibility makes them feel important, reduces jealousy, and keeps the energy high while we get those natural, unstaged shots.

The truth about family photography in Mumbai homes or studios is that the magic doesn't happen when everyone says cheese. It happens in the messy, loud, and real moments between the poses.

The 'Sibling' Challenge

Getting a toddler and a newborn to cooperate is rarely about perfect lighting; it's about psychology. I always start with the sibling photos first because their patience is short. If they are tired, they are done. I use 'reverse psychology' and bribery—a little bit of chocolate goes a long way—to keep the mood light. Most importantly, I treat the older sibling as an equal partner in the shoot, not just a prop.

Why 'Real' Beats Perfect

In a world of AI-generated perfection, I focus on the stuff that machines cannot replicate. The way a toddler gently touches a newborn's cheek, the funny noise the dad makes to get a giggle, or the look of exhausted love on a mother's face. These are the details that matter. If the baby isn't in the mood, we pause. We don't force a smile. We follow the baby's lead, which is exactly why my sessions feel like a visit with a friend rather than a clinical photography assignment.

My Approach to Family Sessions

Whether we are shooting in your living room or at my studio in Cuffe Parade, the goal is always the same: capture your family as you truly are. I don't believe in over-editing skin tones to make everyone look like plastic dolls. I keep the warmth and the emotion, creating images that will make you smile ten years from now.
