Behind the Scenes of My Mehendi Art
Behind every intricate line is hours of daily practice. Here is a look at my #30days challenges, my technique drills, and the travel journeys I take to bring my mehendi art to your home.
Part 1 of my travel vlog to a bride's location in Bangalore. I am happy to travel from Channapatna to surrounding areas like Bangalore, Mysore, and Mandya for your event.
Another mehendi vlog, this time for a local booking in Channapatna. This video shows the process and the final intricate design.
The final day of my 30-day practice challenge. This video shows the before and after of a full-hand design I practiced on myself.
Day 24 of my challenge, focusing on various finger designs. These small details are very important for a complete and polished mehendi look.
Practicing Warli art with henna for Day 23. This traditional folk art style can be incorporated into mehendi for a unique, narrative design.
Day 18 was all about practicing different styles of floral bouquets. These are very popular elements in Arabic and Indian mehendi designs.
On Day 15, I practiced drawing various types of flowers and leaves. Mastering these basic elements is key to creating beautiful, flowing designs.
Practicing different styles of Arabic bails and fillers for Day 12 of my challenge. Consistent practice helps me keep my lines sharp and my designs creative.
Day 9 was dedicated to practicing different mandala motifs, including elephants, lotuses, and jhumkas. These can be used as centerpieces for palm designs.
For Day 8, I practiced creating detailed squares with traditional wedding symbols like Ganesha and kalash. These are often used in bridal mehendi.
About My Art & Dedication
I prepare my own organic henna cones at home, ensuring they are chemical-free and safe for children and expectant mothers. You will often see me travelling by public transport or scooter to reach venues in Bangalore, Mysore, or Mandya, because I prefer to handle every booking personally to maintain the high standard you see in these photos.
Mehendi is my constant practice. To keep my lines sharp and my designs fresh, I dedicate time to mastering different elements, ranging from traditional Warli art to complex floral bouquets. My #30days challenge is a direct reflection of this commitment; it is where I test new borders, intricate net patterns, and centerpieces before bringing them to your special event.
Why Quality Matters
I believe in using only 100% organic henna. I mix the paste myself, which means you get a rich, dark stain without worrying about chemical reactions. Whether you are booking me for a quick guest session or a full bridal package, the quality of the henna remains consistent.
Travel & Logistics
I am based in Channapatna but I frequently travel across Ramanagara, Bangalore, Mandya, and Mysore to reach my clients. Because I travel personally to your location, my schedule can fill up quickly, especially during wedding seasons.
My Design Focus
- Bridal Expertise: I specialize in heavy, detailed bridal mehendi with personal elements.
- Guest Mehendi: I offer quick, elegant Arabic and Mandala designs that keep lines moving during large functions.
- Custom Art: I love incorporating portraits, baby-related motifs for baby showers, or specific traditional symbols upon request.
If you see a style in my gallery that you like, let me know, and we can discuss how to adapt it for your upcoming event.
