About Custom Bridal Portraits
When I do portrait mehendi, I always suggest we sketch the figures on paper first to make sure the poses and details are exactly how you imagined. This takes a bit more planning, but it ensures your hands reflect your specific story rather than just a standard design.
For my signature portrait bridal designs, I go beyond standard patterns. I integrate specific elements like bride and groom figures, your wedding date, initials, or even silhouettes of your proposal location. These designs are highly detailed and require patience. Since I include these custom figures, the process takes about 7 to 9 hours of work, so we will need to block out a full day for the application.
I use only 100% organic henna powder that I mix myself. This is crucial for portrait work because you want clean lines that stand out clearly against the darker filler patterns. My goal is to ensure the stain is deep and rich, so the portraits remain visible for the days following your ceremony.
Whether you are based in Channapatna, Bangalore, Mysore, Mandya, or Ramanagara, I travel to your location. For these complex portrait designs, I provide a lemon-sugar sealant and tape the mehendi if you need it to stay on overnight for a darker stain. Please keep in mind that since I focus on fine detail and negative space shading, these designs are best suited for brides who have the time to sit comfortably for the full application process.
