About Behind the Scenes: My Art & Tutorials

When I teach, I always focus on cone control and consistent pressure before anything else. A common mistake beginners make is holding the cone too tightly or with too much pressure, which breaks the flow of the design. In my sessions, we practice on paper first to master straight lines, spirals, and humps—the building blocks of all patterns—before moving on to skin. It’s about building the muscle memory you need to draw confidently without needing a reference.
