Acne & Scar Correction Treatments in Delhi
Stubborn acne marks and uneven texture do not have to be permanent. I use medical-grade procedures to help your skin heal itself, focusing on safe, effective, and realistic texture correction.
This video demonstrates a Dermapen procedure, a form of microneedling I use for treating acne scars. By creating controlled micro-injuries, we stimulate the skin's natural collagen production, which helps to heal and smooth out scar tissue.
The "Vampire Facial," or PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, is an advanced treatment for skin rejuvenation. After drawing a small amount of your own blood, I process it to concentrate the platelets and apply it to the skin, often with microneedling, to boost collagen and healing.
Microneedling is a powerful procedure for overall skin restoration. As this graphic shows, it helps improve skin texture, reduce pore size, diminish acne marks, and stimulate collagen for tighter, smoother skin.
About Acne & Scar Correction
Acne scars are not all the same. Whether you have icepick, boxcar, or rolling scars, the treatment approach changes significantly. Microneedling is powerful, but for deep, tethered scars, I often combine it with subcision to release the underlying fibrous bands that pull the skin down. This combined approach is how we get a genuinely smoother surface, rather than just a superficial change.
Understanding Your Scars
Not every scar responds to the same treatment. When you visit my clinic in Green Park, I first assess your skin type and the depth of your scarring. We move beyond simple surface treatments to target the root cause of the texture issue.
Why Microneedling and PRP (Vampire Facial)
I use the Dermapen for microneedling because it allows me to adjust the needle depth to your specific needs. It is far more precise and effective than at-home rollers, which can often cause more damage than good. By creating controlled micro-injuries, we trigger your body’s natural collagen production.
When we add PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), we use your own growth factors to accelerate that healing. It is not just about the procedure; it is about providing the building blocks your skin needs to repair itself.
The Reality of Recovery
I believe in honest expectations. These treatments involve downtime. Your face will appear red immediately after, and you should plan for 24 to 48 hours of social downtime. You will not see a perfect result overnight—scar correction is a process. It takes patience and a series of sessions to achieve natural, long-lasting improvement.
Myth vs. Reality
- At-home dermarollers: I generally advise against these. Without professional sanitation and depth control, you risk infection or worsening your scarring.
- Instant results: Scar correction is gradual. Anyone promising a total cure in one session is not being honest with you.
- Pain: We use numbing cream to make the process comfortable, but you should expect mild sensations during the procedure.
