Mane | ಮನೆ: Revitalizing a Heritage Apartment

For this 1250 sq ft apartment in a 20-year-old building, the brief was to evoke the warmth and functionality of a traditional Karnataka 'Mane' (home). We transformed the dark, compartmentalized layout by opening up the living, dining, and kitchen areas to improve light and flow, using a palette of terrazzo, teak, and rattan.
