Hands-On Audio Production & Engineering Fellowship
Turn your passion for sound into a real career with our intensive 12-week engineering fellowship. Learn in our studio or on our mobile Music Bus with industry-standard gear, entirely free of cost.
Our instructor breaks down a complex audio project for a group of engaged students. The curriculum is built around practical application, ensuring every student understands both the theory and the "haath ka kaam" of audio engineering.
A student gets hands-on experience with vocal recording techniques during an Audio Production class. We create a safe space for learners to experiment with microphones and software to find the perfect sound.
One-on-one guidance is a key part of our teaching philosophy. Here, an instructor points out specific waveforms on the DAW, helping a student understand the nuances of audio editing and mixing.
Students collaborate on a project, working together at a production workstation. Our courses foster a community of learners who can share ideas and grow their skills together.
Learning to record acoustic instruments is a fundamental skill. This session focuses on proper microphone placement for a tabla, teaching students how to capture the rich, percussive tones of traditional Indian instruments.
A glimpse into our Audio Production class where students are learning about different types of microphones. Understanding the right equipment is the first step toward becoming a skilled sound engineer.
Students work at their individual stations during a practical session. Our studio is equipped to give every learner the chance to work directly with audio software and hardware.
An audio production session taking place inside the Music Bus. This demonstrates how we provide versatile learning environments, preparing students to work in both traditional studios and unconventional spaces.
This video shows our students managing a live recording session on the Music Bus. They are handling everything from setup to the final mix, gaining the confidence needed for professional audio work.
About Hands-On Audio Production & Engineering
We skip the theory-heavy approach to focus entirely on 'haath ka kaam'—practical work. You won’t just read about signal flow or mic placement; you’ll set up real sessions, use Apple MacBooks with professional DAWs, and mix tracks inside our actual studio or our mobile Music Bus. We select small cohorts of 4-6 students to ensure you get direct, one-on-one time with your mentors, not just a seat in a crowded classroom.
Learn Audio Engineering in a Real Studio
Traditional music production courses often get lost in academic theory. At Manzil Mystics, we keep it focused on the studio floor. Whether you’re learning at our South Extension center or hopping onto our mobile Music Bus, the curriculum is designed to replicate real-world industry demands.
What You Will Master
This 12-week fellowship covers the essential technical spine of audio engineering:
- Signal Flow & Mic Placement: Learn how to capture sound properly, whether it's a vocalist or traditional instruments like the tabla.
- DAW Proficiency: Gain fluency in Logic Pro and Cubase using our dedicated workstations.
- Production & Mixing: Transition from raw recording to the final mix, understanding how to clean up audio, apply effects, and balance layers.
Why Our Approach is Different
We believe in removing the barrier of entry for aspiring sound engineers. Our 100% scholarship program ensures your background doesn't dictate your future—your drive does. By limiting our cohorts to 4-6 students, we move at your pace. You aren't just learning software; you are stepping into the role of a producer who can manage a session from setup to export. This is about building a community of changemakers who can eventually run their own sessions, manage artist projects, and contribute to the music ecosystem.
