Custom Character & Portrait Illustrations
I design original characters and stylized portraits from scratch. No filters, no AI, just raw lines and dynamic colors brought to life on my iPad.
A version of my original devil character design with a softer, gradient background. This changes the mood slightly, making the character pop in a different way.
The same original character illustration on a clean white background. This is great for focusing on the character's details, like the horn texture and expression, without any distractions.
A black and white version of my devil character, set against the red background. This creates a powerful, high-contrast look that emphasizes the lighting and form.
This is an original character I designed, a skater girl with a Spidey-themed board. This full-background version places her in her element at a skate park, giving the scene a sense of action and energy.
Another version of my skater girl OC. For this one, I designed a different skateboard with a sticker-bombed deck, showing how I can customize details to fit a character's personality.
The sticker-bombed skater girl character isolated on a white background. This is a great way to present a character design clearly, focusing on the pose, outfit, and accessories.

A close-up of my 'Vismaya' portrait. This view lets you see the details in the hair, the painterly style of the skin, and the texture in the background.
The full version of the 'Vismaya' portrait, presented as a print with Kannada text. This shows how my illustrations can be used for posters or personal art pieces.
This was a quick 30-minute digital portrait study. I focused on capturing the light and shadow on the face and figure using a simple blue and white palette.
About Custom Character & Portrait Illustrations
You see the final, but the process is where it actually happens. I work in phases, meaning you get to see the rough concept and line art before I even touch the final colors. It ensures we are on the same page regarding posing and expression before I commit to the render.
I don't just take a photo and trace over it. My work is about capturing a vibe, whether you want an original character (OC) with a specific backstory or a portrait that leans into that anime or comic book aesthetic.
Everything you see here is drawn from scratch in Procreate. When we work together, I send updates at every stage. For character designs, we start with a thumbnail to nail the pose, move to the line art, and finally add colors and effects. If you check out the skater girl design, you can see how I customize everything from the sticker-bombed deck to the character's outfit.
My pricing is tiered to keep things simple. If you just need a rough concept sketch or monochrome line art, that is a quick turnaround. For something like a full-blown original character with props or a complex album cover, I put in the hours to detail the atmospheric background and typography.
Everything is fully human and zero AI. I believe art should feel alive, which is why I focus on bold lines and dynamic lighting. Whether it is a gritty noir study or a vibrant pop culture tribute, the goal is always to make something that feels like it has a story behind it. If you have an idea in your head, let's talk and get it onto the canvas.
