Match Day Performance & Tactical Analysis
Coaching is my passion, but I am a player at heart. I still play competitive cricket regularly to keep my skills sharp. Here is a look at my recent matches, where I put my own techniques and strategies to the test on the field.
Highlights from a recent T20 match. It was a good day on the field with both bat and ball.
A short highlight reel from a T20 match where I was named Game Changer of the Match for my all-round performance. It's always a great feeling when your hard work pays off.
A clip from a match where I was bowling a tight spell. The commentary notes the drift I was getting, which is a result of a good seam position and releasing the ball close to the stumps.
Match preparation is key. Knowing the opposition had many left-handed batsmen, I spent the day before practicing my line of attack to lefties on an astroturf wicket to simulate match conditions.
A clip from a tournament final match. My only job is to give my 100 percent with honesty and hard work. The result is not in my hands.
They say batsmen get all the glory, but it's the bowlers who win you matches. A satisfying moment after taking a key wicket.
In cricket, effort and intention are everything. Even if the result doesn't go your way, if you give your all on every ball, you have nothing to regret.
A good spell of bowling during a match. It's a great feeling when you're in rhythm and hitting the right spots consistently.
A great catch taken off my bowling. Fielding support like this is what makes a bowler's job easier.
A scorecard showing an all-round performance: 70 runs and 4 wickets. This is the result of consistent practice and dedication.
About In the Zone: Match Day Action
You want to learn from a coach who isn't just theory-based. In these clips, I am testing the exact same drills and match scenarios I teach my students. When you watch me setting up fields for left-handed batsmen or making a comeback after getting hit for a six, you are seeing the exact mental and technical preparation I bring to our 1-on-1 sessions.
Cricket isn't played in a classroom. It is played on turf wickets with real pressure and moving parts. My approach to coaching is simple: if I don't practice it, I don't teach it. When you train with me at the Quetta DAV Cricket Training Center in Nizamuddin East, you aren't just getting generic advice. You are getting the same biomechanical analysis and tactical planning I use to win man-of-the-match awards in Delhi T20 leagues.
Why Match Reality Matters
Whether we are working on your off-spin, chinaman, or batting power drills, we focus on scenarios you will actually face:
- Match Simulation: We don't just bowl at stumps. We bowl to live batsmen, set fields for left-handers, and simulate powerplay pressure.
- Biomechanics: If your head position or release point is slightly off, the batsman will know. I use video audits to fix these micro-errors immediately.
- Mental Toughness: Getting hit for a six is part of the game. I teach you how to maintain your composure and adjust your line for the next ball, exactly as you see in my own match highlights.
Professional Coaching Modules
I work with kids starting at age 8 up to professionals looking to break into IPL nets. My sessions are 1-on-1 because every player has a unique action. We don't change your natural style; we refine it to make you more efficient and accurate. If you are outside Delhi, my online mentorship program provides the same rigor through video feedback and custom drill charts.
